Dr. Jean Lee-Mirzayan

Dr. Lee was born and raised in Chicago. She attended University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign, where she graduated with a degree in Psychology. From there, she continued on to Northwestern Dental School and received her DDS degree. She also met her future husband here! They have been married over 10 years and have an 8 year-old daughter, Mia.

Dr. Lee went on to the VA Hospital of Long Beach where she completed a one year general practice residency program. She and her husband, Dr. Mirzayan, then spent a year in Honolulu, HI where she worked at a community health center for disadvantaged families. Since then, she has been in private practice with her husband in downtown LA. Her main focus is on the well-being of her patients, promoting preventative care, and educating them on their dental health. Dr. Lee is also the Invisalign specialist at Esthetic Dentistry. She attends many study clubs and workshops to continue to provide the best care for her patients. Dr. Lee enjoys living in Southern California and spends most of her time with her daughter and their dog. She enjoys traveling with her family and going for walks at the Rose Bowl. Her interests range from reading on her new Kindle, doing Pilates and yoga, and healthy eating and living. She does miss Chicago occasionally, but not the cold winters!

Dr. Armen Mirzayan

Dr. Armen Mirzayan grew up in Southern California and attended the University of California at Los Angeles, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Physiological Sciences. He pursued a Master's Degree at Boston University in the field of Medical and Dental Sciences. He ultimately received his Doctoral Degree in Dental Surgery from Northwestern University in Chicago. His interests led him to the Queen's Medical Center, in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he completed a General Practice Residency.

He is currently in private practice and a former clinical assistant professor at the University of Southern California Dental School. He was the restorative director of the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Sedation Program. Dr. Mirzayan is committed to delivering the latest advancements in oral health care for his patients by completing over 500 hours of Continuing Education. Furthermore, he is a certified continuing education provider for the State of California and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Mirzayan is also the dentist for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Go Dodgers!!!

Staff of Professionals

Monica Wilkerson is our dynamic office manager. She is no stranger to hard work and dedication. Monica started in the dental field over 13 years ago as a dental assistant and worked her way up to an office manager. She is a great team leader who is truly passionate about her job. What Monica loves most about dentistry is helping people to achieve their beautiful smiles. In her spare time she loves spending time with her daughter, shopping, going to theme parks, movies, and hanging out with her girlfriends for an apple martini or two.

Dee De la Cruz is our administrative assistant; she handles all of your insurance needs. She has been an insurance specialist in the dental field for the last four years. Dee is also a full-time student majoring in Accounting and Business. She lives in Hollywood and dedicates a majority of her spare time to her own retail and glamour party businesses.

Brandi Wilson is our highly experienced and extremely gentle dental hygienist. She joined the Esthetic Dentistry team seven months ago. Brandi has been a practicing hygienist for the last 12 years, and hails from the great State of Ohio where she attended the Ohio State University. Supporting the arts, etymology, and daily flossing are her passions. She hopes her patients will feel free to attend community theatre projects she is fond of participating in. In her spare time, Brandi enjoys exploring L.A., dreaming about teeth, and writing comedy.

Maria Padilla has worked at Esthetic Dentistry Dental Group for about a year now. She is a skilled dental hygienist and she loves connecting with her patients and educating them about their oral health and staying up to date on the latest technology, such as Periodontal Laser Therapy in which she has acquired certification. Maria loves anything that has to do with the outdoors. Some of her favorite activities include gardening, biking, working out and flossing.

Ana Velasquez is our head dental assistant. She manages the back office with precision and professionalism. She is a friendly and compassionate young woman. Ana is organized and informed to ensure the highest standard of care for our patients. In addition to liking "everything" about her job, Ana loves interacting with the patients. She enjoys making them comfortable while they are in her care. Ana lives in Los Angeles with her family.

Lluri Hernandez is our devoted dental assistant. She loves the advanced technology in the office and is very savvy on the computer! She enjoys interacting with our patients and staff. Lluri has been a valuable addition to the Esthetic Dentistry team.When Lluri is not at work, she likes to play the guitar and take long walks on the beach.
